lol.. I kind of agree, I am not sure about first and last letters, but we do recognize patterns and go with those. Also we are curious and hence we venture to read and understand what it might be even if it is misspelt?

it's true, we don't read entire words, and we tend to read in curves - for both words and sentence, jumping across a line rather than reading straight.
